Overview

Honey & Sir Productivity is a coaching business that needed a more effective digital experience without abandoning its existing WordPress implementation. The work focused on improving mobile usability, sharpening information hierarchy, and making conversion-focused actions easier to find.

Business Problem

Crowded mobile layouts, weak visual hierarchy, difficult-to-find calls to action, and unclear navigation were creating friction. Working inside WordPress templates required recommendations that were practical, scalable, and feasible to implement.

Goals

Improve mobile usability

Strengthen visual hierarchy

Increase CTA visibility

Simplify navigation

Build a scalable foundation

My Role

I led the UX evaluation, responsive design improvements, client collaboration, WordPress implementation guidance, and conversion-focused recommendations. Each decision balanced user needs with the site’s current technical constraints.

Design Decisions

Five focused moves created a clearer, more confident path through the experience.

Prioritized Mobile Readability

Improved spacing, typography, and touch targets for confident reading and action on smaller screens.

Increased CTA Visibility

Emphasized primary actions through placement, contrast, and hierarchy.

Simplified Information Hierarchy

Grouped related content, strengthened headings, and reduced cognitive load.

Worked Within WordPress Constraints

Adapted improvements to template limitations instead of rebuilding the site.

Planned for Future Growth

Outlined future opportunities for pricing, testimonials, scheduling, payment integrations, and a content hub.

Reflection

Successful UX often means improving an existing system rather than starting over. This work reinforced the value of collaborating closely with stakeholders, keeping user needs visible, and making thoughtful choices inside real technical constraints.
